Hey guys, due to my centre section blowing and falling to bits, i decided that i will try some stright through pipes in going to standard rear box.
The most local place to me is powerflow, so i gave them a call to get a quote, and they said they cant make exhausts for BMW cars, as they resonate!!!!
Ive never heard of this before, is this true?
and what does resonate mean??
Cheers
Powerflow wont make me an Exhaust!!!!!!

If i dont like it, then i'll just take it off, and im sure someone else would like to have it

They made an awesome S/S straight throught system for me a few years ago for my 320i. (bury st edmunds branch) cost me over 300 squidles but a great piece of kit
was a bit loud perhaps, but a awesome roaring sound with lots of machine gunning on downshift
etc.. the neighbours didn't like it at all. this might be up for sale as it looks like i'm breaking the car fairly soon. its at a mates farm at the moment (wrapped up in a clean barn) and i havent checked its condition recently, but i'm sure the exhaust will be fine.

@PND: They have been here for years, and the last time i contacted the for an exhaust for my V70 T5, they couldnt do it. But i know others can, as i have seen many done.
Probably not got the skill to do it.
@Keiserwill: Sounds like what im after ;) keep me in mind if i dont get fixed up

when i did mine they effectively ran the engine whilst holding different sections up to the manifold till we were happy with the sound, then went off for some lunch whilst they welded it all up.

I've got a Powerflow exhaust on my 318i cabby. D/Pipe,back & Sports Cat. Installed in March 2009, it cost the previous owner £450! I'm very surprised they can't make one, maybe they don't want the business, in that case take it elsewhere
