Hi

I have recently swapped the engine for another M42 and have just put all the wiring loom back on.

Stupidly I should have labelled the connectors but everything seems to be ok bar one problem:

The oil light never lights up, not on ignition. I had three connectors at oil pressure switch end. Two with 1 pin and one with 2 pins. One of the 1 pin connectors comes out on its own and the other is linked to the 2 pin connector. I assumed the linked ones were for the two temperature senders (blue 2 pin and brown 1 pin) and the remaining connector is for oil pressure sender.

Can someone confirm this? Temp guage in car is working fine btw.

Also is there any way to check reading on oil pressure switch to check its not faulty.

Thanks

Your description sounds like they are in the correct place. I did this recently and IIRC the oil pressure switch lead is on its own. Can't be more help than that, sorry.
