everything e30 into an e21????????

ok here go,s my latest idea is to find a nice e21 shell and put either the m20 25 engine in or maybe a longterm project and fit a m30 35

what i really wanna know is how much of an e30 could i fit into an e21??

eg
seats
dash
brakes etcetc
love the shape of the e21s but theyre getting very dated inside so would prefer to get all the e30 stuff in if possible

this is only a thought at the moment but all your thorts and advice is very welcome cheers lads

thats what i was thinking of doing , glad im not the only one. ive found one in orange but im still trying to get the bloke to sell , its been sitting for about 3 years and needs some work to the body. its a 323i but the engine is fooked and the wireing loom has been chewed by rats , were its been sitting on an ind area . how hard do you think it would be to do the conversion , ive got a full e30 325i loom ready to go in , but will the engine and box line up

engines are same m20 so will def fit
i have a e30 323 scrper here lovely engine tho
as for the rest i dnt know yet but hope someone will come tell me soon

the engine in this e21 is diferent to the e30 its a old W reg

thort the 6cyls had m20s in but jtronic??

oh well still fit as lots of much bigger engines have gone into e21s check out some of the german e21 sites search google etc

yep your right cheers for that. im going to see it at the weekend and see if he want to sell if he dose the wife might not let me get it so ill let you know mate, also its not a hard top . ill see if i can get some pics of it at the weekend.
