I'm looking into a swap for the following car, i'm not into E28's, my 318is is lovely and i'm after something E30 with a 6 cyl in any condition really, some MOT would be good too.
I've been given a 1983 528i auto in Polaris Silver, it's basically a great runner, not in the best nick, has been bumped either end so bumpers are bent, and i believe it was a CAT C and has had new panels on the front (wings by the look of it).
I took it to help my friend in London who has a rapidly expanding business and has limited parking, he owned it for 4 years.
The speedo is not working and the central locking works from the boot only.
The good news is that it's got 11 months MOT, flew through the test, needing 4 new tyres which my friend has bought and now fitted. It's not taxed but is SORN, but if you tax it, you can drive it away, i drove it back from London and it was faultless, electric sunroof and windows all working. It has also recently had a new radiator.
Let me know if you're interested, we were looking to sell it and split money but i'm looking to swap for whatever? What you got, may even take a non E30?
