right ive got an M40 and im changing the Rocker cover to a black/polished one.

It looks easy enough, just the bolts on top of it, and then a pipe going into one of the corners near the throttle body.

Do i just pull on this pipe and is it going to piss out water?

Or does coolant only flow thru it when the eigine is up to temperature or running?

Cheers Adam

Only pipe going into a M40 rocker cover is a breather pipe, so no water will come out.
Engine won't idle properly if this pipe is off or leaking.

If there's coolant going into the rocker cover then there's something very, very wrong with your engine.
Once driven, forever smitten.
Direct injection, turboed, intercooled, 16 valves giving a whopping 48.5hp/litre!! :(
