steering woes

i find the steering on my 318is very slow.what can be done,can u get a quick rack 2 fit.if so ,out of which model of e30

u can fit a e36 rack to that.

i think there is an article in the tech section on how to do it

I wouldn't call an E36 a quick rack though, just a"little bit quicker than E30" rack

Not quick in the true sense of the word, but it makes a massive difference to how the E30 drives.

If you get the rack from the 3.0L M3, you are looking at 3.2 turns lock to lock (as opposed to 3.4 on the regular E36, 3.5 turns on the legendary E30 M3 and around 4 on the regular E30's).
