Just thought I'd see if any other local zoners fancy a track day at Colerne airfield (in Wiltshire) on Saturday the 24th of July?

It's £125 open pitlane run by Motorsport-Events

Here's a map of the circuit:

Noise limit is 100db.

I'm booking my spot tomorrow so I'd better get on and put the car back together

I am tempted, I just have to fix the alternator, replace a fried battery and sort a better sump baffle. A very wet Colerne killed them, well not the baffle.

The track layout, although similar to that diagram is much better in real life.

As it is a Saturday, it will be fully booked at least a week before the event, so don't wait too see if it gets cheaper...it doesn't.

I'll see how fixing the car goes and update if I book on.

I've got a spare alternator off of my M42 if you get stuck :thumb:

I'm just doing the online order form now I know how fast their track days fill up :)

Nothing ground breaking has happened just the suspension updates. My front struts should be powder coated end of this week so and I've order some bits from BMW too so it should be back on the ground soon :)

I wouldn't want to grace an m42 alternator on a proper 4 pot.
