Hi Ant,

Three of mine are defective. My mate has a E36 that hes breaking engine runs nice other than it cooks so thinking of having the injectors from it. Just want some that work correctly rather than it being a modification.

Cheers for the info Jamie

check the wiring before swapping them out dude, the power feed is common to all 6, the ground line to ECU is split 3 and 3( brn/yel and brn/whi )

Ant,
1, 2 & 5. When I took the inlet off they were full of fuel. Didnt think of wiring fault, is it likely to be? Car hadnt been run for at least 2 months. It has had a over fueling issue for a while and as it hasnt been on the road for nearly 2 years and the cost of fuel now a days decided to look into it. It also has a battery drain but again this isnt likely to be injectors is it? Car has covered about 230k so decided that the injectors are probably a bit tired anyways.

Cheers Jamie

Your best course of action is to invest £60 with injectortune (see trader's section), and have your injectors rebuilt. Your mates E36 injectors may work, but they will also be well past their best.

Hi Brian, getting mine fixed was my first option but when looking through the paperwork for the breaker he has the previous owner had these ones rebuilt, seals, filters and fuel flow balanced about 4 months ago so thought these would be as good as getting mine done but without the cost.

Jamie, could you reduce the size of your avatar, please? 150x150 is the maximum size allowable. Thanks.
