The clocks in my 89' 325 have decided to go abit mad and do all kinds of wierd stuff.
On first ignition click all seems normal, on second the inspection lights flicker on and off, the front and rear fog light symbols are half illuminated. With the engine started the inspection lights stay on constant when i rev the engine and at high revs the rev counter only goes up to half the gauge then drops to zero and as the revs drop past half again it goes back up and follows the revs down again. The temp gauge goes off the clockand some times the charge light will work and some times it doesn't.
The clocks only have 105,000 on them so i'm thinking it might be an earth problem somewhere. I have a set of clocks from a 87' 325 but was wondering if the wiring for the clocks is different in the 89' sport to let me try them in to see if its the car or the clocks.
Any ideas anybody?
