A new hood is next on my list but in the mean time i have to do with the one i have which has seen better days. There isnt any actuall holes as such but it is leaking through the 'seams' if you will that run down both sides, from what i can tell its like it has stretched and the roof gets very damp but doesnt really drip. just after any ideas to make it last a little longer untill i can get a new one
cheers jonny

A smear of clear, silicone sealant all along the inside of the seams.

It works for the g/f's cab. :)

My roof is exactly the same condition, possibly worse cos I have small splits (just 1cm long) in a couple of places.

Tank tape stuck to the underside of the roof has got me through three additional winters!!!!!!!!!

I used silicone saelant on the finger on the underside...works a treat will even seal big splits(i Know)..you can get it in black. Tent waterproofer or even a heavy coating of bumper shine(its only silicone) from poundland will waterproof the canvas...i have tried it all

i went over all the seems on mine with a thing called stormsure, worked a treat even where the stitching had pulled out...then did the whole hood with autoglyms hood cleaner and then protector brought it up a real treat... 8)
