Hi, finally a very decent braking system for the e30! i have had the brackets produced for an all round upgrade and have some pics to show.

Lets start with what the front would require you to get,
Audi TT discs with slight modifications which i could ask my engineer to do at cost but the weight of two discs may work out damn heavy for post
E34 540i Brackets
E34 Brake Pads which need a touch of friction material taking off. Which again my engineer could do which aint too bad for post
Some E36/E46/E85/Z3 Brake Calipers and Retaining Clip
www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=34116758114 These Variants precisely...

Image
This is what you would get in a kit but obviously a pair and the bolts are for demo only as i didnt get to the fastener shop in time

The air gap

And the Rear Setup would require;
294mm Brake discs from an e46 www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?part=34211165563 These variants in particular
From the same Vehicles The
Calipers and retaining clip
Carriers
Brake Pads.
You would need a locating ring for these discs!!! That is Extra. And a touch dear for what they are, and that is because the engineer said it is a touch awkward to machine them hence more labour time!

The Kit would come with a pair of brackets and are these specific bolts in this pic.

Fitted with an Alpina Rim (WHICH IS NOT FOR SALE)

The locating rings which wont come in the rear kit and are extra!
Both kits will come with instructions and necessary hardware. And a discount can be had if both kits are bought together.
Fronts: £65 delivered
Rears: £65 delivered
Locating rings: £15 plus post
Complete kit minus the rings: £120 delivered
Complete kit £135 delivered
Modifications to Wear and tear components : Cost price.
As soon as i can pass on a decent order, within two weeks of me posting to let you know that i am passing it on, i will have the kits in my possession if not to you.
BOTH SETUPS DO CLEAR GENUINE ALPINAS!
Front alloy pics will be uploaded tomorrow.
Collection from Leicester is fine and Sheffield on most weekends.

You can fit a 15 inch BBS over the rears BTW, shame you didnt make a rear bracket for 540 calipers as ive got that job to do for my setup :D

Top work there and a sensible price :)

Have you tried 540 fronts on the road (on an E30)? Just wondering how they compare to the wms (1st go) setup :)

The WMS are obviously a lot lighter and more efficient but there isnt much difference to be noticed on the road TBH

Thanks for the comments so far! The reason i didnt opt for having that setup made Dan is because of the rarity of getting those parts. i tried for myself and i was struggling and found prices circa £120 for those that did. but the E46 is available anywhere for £50 which makes it affordable for everyone and plus wear and tear items are ok priced too! But really, cheers for the positive comments so far!

I also found them pretty difficult to get hold of, but I did want them matching to the master cylinder I have so had to go with 540 rears after id already done the front.
Can you not use the E36/46 front caliper carriers? Like you say the 540 stuff is hard to get hold of and to buy new is out of the question, I priced some brackets up a few weeks ago and thought the parts guy was reading the wrong price

I think i tried that method but either the pads or the "step" in the bracket was too much of an issue for me and the engineer. so avoided that and went for a known setup. i did get excited at one point as Toyota Avensis carriers were a strong contender but then another hick up with them popped up. anyways! time to upload mental looking front brakes!
