Hi guys im looking for a donor vehicle for a e30/m30 conversion. I've read through alot of your build threads an guides so im looking for an E34 535, is there any particular model i should be looking for? in terms of the engine and box or are all manuals the same? the sports an se etc?
Also is there a certain mileage amount i should avoid? for example i've mostly modified corrados/golfs etc i wouldnt want a VR6 150K without the chains already been changed...
Some advice needed?

All E34 535i engines are the same (also 735i) mine came from a 535i sport and at first understood the sport had a closer ratio box, later found out they dont so all M30 boxes are the same
Mileage isnt really a problem with an M30 as there fairly bombproof.

Thats good news makes my search a bit easier, theres two 535i's on ebay at the moment but over 200 miles away from me i'll be looking to find a doner in the next month or so then a tidy E30 to squeeze it into.
