OBC 6 Fitting into 1989 Chromie Cab

I've started to install a 6 button OBC in my 89 chromie cab, the loom is in the back of the instruments and OBC indash, under the passenger glove box was a loose brown and blue plug which the other part of the OBC loom plugged into (not sure if this is correct).

The temp is reading -30 and bonging, I haven't fitted the temp sensor yet as I don't know where to find the engine bay loom or position the sensor.

Is it an option on the chrome cabs, have I wired it correctly so far or should the brown and blue plug into the white block housing and what can I do about the temp sensor.

If it's the same as the setup for the 13 button one then the outside temp sensor is mounted in the passenger side brake cooling duct (next to the fog lamp) so around that area would be a good place to start looking for a loom.
On a related note, does anyone know how to change the reading from Fahrenheit to Celcius on the 6 button OBC? Is it even possible?

There isn't a a brake cooling duct on a chromie prefacelift.

On the back of the OBC is a screw to change from F to C 12hr to 24hr

Sorry, I didn't see the "chromie" bit in your post!

I'm sure I've read somewhere that taking out the OBC is a pain in the ass, can the screw be reached by just taking the stereo out?

is the screw also present on the 13 button obc?

the outside temp sensor is pushed into the lower plastic valance on a pre-facelift , just trace the wire back it's quite simple

On the 6 the front cover just pulls off revealing the unit, at the top and bottom and little clips when moved release the entire unit, he screw is on the back.

Temperature sensor all sorted but in the same area from the same loom was this wire which I'm not sure where it attached to. The wire colours are red/white and yellow/blue, I think (pretty dirty), any idea where they could plug into?

I'm still unsure about this extra wire but the OBC kit is all now fitted, doesn't it get a colder reading as the temp sensore is sat right at the front of the valance?
