Chips of the performance increasing kind not the ones with fish.
Any ideas, are they worth it, there are a few sellers on ebay, dodgy?
I'm looking to increase my idle as it's poor until the car warms up and then its only around 650rpm this seems a bit low, would a chip help, any thoughts.

Sounds like you have a problem elsewhere, not ECU related.
Has throttle position switch been altered? Vacuum leak?
