will my m20 throttle body fit the engine out of a 5 series e28 525e?

The e28 525e uses an M20 engine and has a small bore 320i/323i throttle body.

It could be modded to accept a 325i TB but the inlet and exhaust ports are so small there wouldn't be any benefit.
