would 18 inch 35-40 mm offset with 225/40 tyres fit my lowered 40 mm 91 cab

I have 35mm offset spacers on 7.5" wide wheels with 205 tyres also lowered 40mm at the back and with 2 people it will scrub easily, let alone 8" wide wheels and 225 tyres.
