Where does the wiring for the rear of the car run??? is it under the car?

most of it runs down the nearside inner sill under the carpet and through a rubber bung into the boot area although i think there is also some running down the offside sill too.

Only wires under the car is where they have to be: the looms to each rear hub, the diff, the fuel tank, and the reverse light switch on the gearbox.

am i right in thinking the wire for the fuel tank is under the rear bench in the loom that goes through the rubberbung to the left of the fuel pump. goes under the car and back in through the hole at the top of the pump?? if that makes any sense? rather than feed it under the car couldnt i just run it straight across the top and under the cover thingy??
