As above, the website looks good and there's a dealer close to me.

Are they good, any experiences or comments? Good value? What would be the approximate cost for a full 318is system?

Many thanks

depends on the fitter/welder how good it is

full system from where the down pipes merge in to one, you'll be looking at £350. but it would be easier to call them and ask rather the me guessing

If your near cheshire, try jp exhausts.

Really good company to deal with, and the quality of work I cant fault.

Thanks, unfortunately I'm not that near, but I'll bear it in mind.

A very daft question but could a new top drawer exhaust help a dodgy idle? I presume not but I'm a mechanical div.

Where about are you?

MIJ performance in Walsall, Torque flow in Birmingham and a few others do good custom exhausts to suit your requirements. Anything between £180-£300

Must be a power-flow franchise somewhere close to you.

These guys are based in Ashford, but I couldn't guarantee their quality as I've never used them. May be looking for a new exhaust with them soon though...

My brother also used this company for his '02: http://www.torqueflow.co.uk/index.html

My brother drove up from Sussex and it was done the same day. Top quality job too with good quality stainless steel.

Not too sure where you are based but give Martyn Davies at infinity exhausts a bell, he used to work for longlife exhausts and then setup on his own. Knowns his stuff, good prices. Was featured in a bmw mag recently (total I think).

Thanks Jonesy, I'll do that, sounds good.

Thing about Longlife that appeals is the 'lifetime guarantee' and 'no quibbles'.

Anyone had them 'quibble' at them?

Nice!

So if I'm lucky I can toodle up tomorrow, and they'll whack a lush exhaust on while I wait (M42) and off I go 300/400 lighter?

That would be nice!

Brill. I don't want a 'noise' as such other than the standard thrum. I'll tell them that.

Thanks all.

Had a cat back system done on my E36 in march 2006 at their Leeds depot. Got a Citroen AX as courtesy car for the day( better than nothing). Sounds great , never had any trouble with it and it still looks good.
