Hi

I am looking for any guidance on converting to triple webers and in particular concerning removal of the ECU and sensors and how the timing etc is controlled

Thanks

Try contacting e21jason for info, as he has a set on his 2.7L track car.

He should be in a position to advise accordingly.

Don't do it! :)

Or if you do, at least invest in a mappable 3D ignition system!

That´s of course the best way. But the engine is also running with a stock modified ignition system from an early M20B20.

That does sound lovely, although ITBs and electronic ignition can do everything that carbs and clockwork dizzies can only faaaaaaar better.......with the possible exception of acceleration fueling for snap throttle openings.

Old thread I know, however I got my M20 weber manifold from Rowland Manifolds in South Africa.

The only modification I had to make was to enlarge one of the recesses for the manifold nuts and cut out the metal between each throat as I run Solex carbies (they have an adjustment screw between each butterfly, which fouled as the throttle was opened). Both modifications were easy. I got mine about 2 years ago for AUD350 landed, which is a great price if you ask me.

I must add though, that I stuck these on an E21, which doesn't have the firewall mounted brake booster.
