OBC talks in three languages,American,English and European.
There's a tiny button on the lower r/h side of the face that you need to press to scroll through the options.
I find it easiest to set on the MPG screen,in the above order it displays,MPG,M/G and litres per klm.

So if the screen displays something, the timer works, etc. The obc kit is working?daimlerman wrote:OBC talks in three languages,American,English and European.

I can get time but no date on mine!
Fuel consumption/range works, range is optimistic though.
Outside temp works, handy when coming home from work in the early hours...
Do not ever remember the timer working, though.
I have also never tried the immobiliser function!
If you are retro fitting one,the harness plugs in behind the glovebox(cubby in NZ!),then goes both across the back of the dash and through the bulkhead. The across the dash part plugs in to the back of the display unit and into the main cluster, then the harness drops down to the control unit mounted above the engine ECU.Not too bad a job, especialy if you already have the dash in bits for a radio fit or a cluster change.

I think the screen is battered on mine, timer works, temp doesn't show, date/time doesn't show/set.daimlerman wrote:I can get time but no date on mine!

Difficult to say,you would need to be honest in your advert or a mod will come after you
,I could not say if it's the display unit faulty or the control unit, could even be the SI board in the cluster that's faulty and giving out confused signals!
