what do you want a cage for, depending on use you might be better of going and buying one. but if its just for trackdays and stuff, i dont see any problem in making them yourself, providing you know how to weld. not something you should rush into though. google for rollcage fabrication or something.

make sure you use cds tube, normally cage are made of 1" 3/4. but the hoop always looks better in 2". you can buy a tube nothcer in kit car mags for about Ԛ£60 which bolts in a vise and uses a drill to notch the tube at any angle. much easier than a grinder! look in the yellow pages and the are companys that will bend the tube for you from a template as hydraulic bender wont work, unless you weld up the end and fill with sand! (agro!). weld it in and get it nice and tight. what you usally do is cut two holes in the floor to get the main hoop in and weld it back up and re-enforce. if you weld it in you can also where you made it tight to the panels you can stich weld along to stop body flex!!!

WITH A BOLT IN ONE IF YOU HAMMER IT ROUND A CORNER HOLDING ON TO THE FRONT CAGE WHERE IT GOES UP THE PILLARS IT WILL BREAK YOUR FINGER WHERE THE BODY FLEXES!!! I KNOW I FUKCING DONE IT!!!!!

Ouch, problem I assume is if you had backed off mid corner you could have ended up off the road/track
