It looks good but, hmmmm kinda home done?
Maybe it's because the surface of the light is slightly stone chipped?

Well i went into a local paint place, and they mixed the paint for me then put it into a Aerosol.
I think it would look better if i didnt sand the shroud down, because it would have been cool with the chrome coming through.
Will try again with a some head lamps i find that are smashed.

Iiiiiii know why it looks funny... ah man I feel so dumb.
I just noticed you don't have a back on the lights so you can't see the projector.
Can you take a pic with the bak on the light Andy?

That looks better with the projector in.
Top work mate, Andrew sure is the daddy of modifying!!
Only one minor point is that the colour looks a little on the brown side rather than dark grey, might be something to do with the paint that the paint shop mixed for you.
I ordered a DIY kit from ebay the other day and will be seeing about using them as a template and having them mass reproduced for zoners.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW
Is that amazing purple colour cut-off due to the hellas Andrew?
How long did it take to mod Si's light and did you need another Audi light to chop up? Also, were the same bulbs used as in the original conversion.
I guess what I'm getting as is, will mine look like that?

Dude ive been doing some research how to get this colour, and its all down to the shield and its position, i promissed Si that this set will be very good after all the problems hes had! This cut off will be the same with any bulbs, i have done this to my Bosch units too, but the colour is no where near as good as this, its close but not close enough, I think these hella projectors have a huge deal to do with the cut off. They are much better in design than the Bosch and i recon about 25% better in light output.
I think ill need to find some of these Hellas!

How long did it take you to modify one unit? Could I come up sometime to do mine if it doesn't take too long?

Its been too wet to test the brace. Like i said to you on bumps you feel it but in terms of handling i dont think it does very much. But its just worth it for the shakes on bumps.
Yes its easy to apply.
Yes will try and make it to ACE
