Right people, i have a 325i sport, im switching wipers on and having problems, on the intermiten setting wipers start then stop more or less straight away, then carry on a little then stop again, medium setting is fine and so is fast wipe, how come im only having problems with the slow setting? ive changed the wiper arm but still had no joy it was doing the same thing, however i did notice that the wiper arm i aquired did not have as many wires coming from the plug, the one on my car has all of the ports filled with wires and the one i bought only had 4, dont think its anything to do with the wiper arm at all, just wondering if anyone else as had the same problem out there?? thanks

do you think it could be that then dude, would it be possible for the other two settings to work on my wipers if the relay had gone??

Had same problem on my 320i, almost - intermittent wipe would go half way across, think about it for a bit, then continue over and back. Bought replacement motor on Ebay, but when I checked my old one out, it was the copper tracks under the motor cover crudded up. Clean the tracks, clean the contacts, regrease sparingly, problem solved. If that doesn't fix it, I've got a good motor available (cleaned and greased!!??)

I cant get my wipers to sit flat at the bottom of the screen, they always stop at different places. Are they suppoesed to do this? Anybody else have this problem?!
