Can anyone enlighten me as to why there would be a faint smell of coolant/antifreeze inside the car whenever i turn up the temperature?

Thanks

Probably because you've got a weeping heater matrix, or if you're lucky the electric heater valve on the left side is leaking,.

Ahh!

Thank you

Is checking the valve easy to do or do i have to start pulling the underside of the dash to bits.

I guess that changing the heater matrix is a nasty job

Valve is behind the access panel on the right hand side of the glovebox.
Have to take out the panel above the glovebox first.
