am doin an engine swap to a for a non bmw engine, it is a 1990 316i. i was wondering is it is possible to separate the engine loom from the rest of the loom, also as the car will be mainly for track usage but retain its road legality is it possible to use the standard lighting and bridge off to ensure guages light up when the headlights are switched on etc.
