what the difference detween the 172/173 chip in the ECU?? are they interchangable between ECU's ????

can any1 tell me if the ECU was put in a different place on some models, just looked at mine to get the number from it, it ain't in the glovebox area!!!!

where's it at??

any ideas??

hi m8 ecu is under drivers side the chips between 172 and 173 are interchangeable but unless youv'e changed the engine from 1 2 another theres no point. good luck
