(Sorry the pictures are crap, it was getting dark when I took them but the ones where I used the flash are even worse, just a very bright number plate and a black shape around it!)

Shelby GT500!
5.4 litre supercharged V8 with 500bhp, and a lovely launch making lots of lovely noise on the way out!
And this, maybe a little too unsubtle for my taste (
) but it was a very well executed job, and yes, it's a Ford V6 Cosworth 24 valve engine! 
It was rear wheel drive with a Capri rear axle but with disc brakes, the guy said he'd recently recorded a 0-60mph time of 5.0 seconds!
It had NO fibreglass on the body, he made (and had photos of the build to prove it) all the panel extensions and bits himself from steel, and chopped the roof three inches.
It did make a fabulous noise on the way out too, and a LOT of it!
