M50 wiring question please help

I have fitted the M50 and loom the same as it came out of the e36 apart from the battery lead that bolts too the fuse box. I am assuming this powers the ecu as when i went to start the car all that is powered up is the starter motor. There in no power to the fuel pump relay or to the green and brown wire when cranking. Can anyone help me because i dont know were to wire it it in. I have check power going to the relays nothing. There is a starter motor but nothing else. Cheers dudes.
Right I have had another look at it and think I may have a problem like Mr Moore writes about in the e30 engine swap sticky. I have took the engine cover off the loom that goes across the motor and the main thicker all red cables that all join together and come out of the drivers side with the main red starter cable wasn't conected to the battery. Happy days I just connect it and bobs your uncle. I connect this to + and 2 wires burn out in the loom. White and purple and White and yellow I think. They go to the service reset plug next to the earth on drivers turret. I am pretty certain that I must have to connect the main bunch of red wires to + to get power to ecu relays etc. I am not running abs are these 2 wires needed if I remove them will I be ok to connect the red wires to +. Has anyone else had this problem. Am a total wiring noob someone please help 
There is a red wire that feeds all three relays that must be connected to premenant live , there is also a ground on the e36 loom that needs earthing ,

Made some progress now. Removed the White and yellow and the White and pink wires from the service plug and the loom where they are joined to some more. This has allowed me to connect all the main reds too+. I now have power to everything. Ecu and relays have all powered up. This is good but still nothing on the green and brown or green and purple underneath the fuel pump relay when cranking. Amy ideas people
Nobody any ideas? Was talking about it with Danthe before he went away Monday. He said if everything is powering up but there is nothing there when cranking for the fuel pump then it's an engine fault. Any ideas what fault it could be? Thanks
Yes mate i do and its out of my old car but there was no chip in the key. Would it help if i unplugged it? Cheers for your help. Its well out of my skill set now. I havetried everything that i could think of and thats not very much 
Are you getting power on the soild green wire in the bulk head socket (C101) this is broken through the odc immobiliser .
If no then pop down the cover above the glove box and you will see to green wires in a two pin plug one end of this goes over to the obc un plug the obc and link out the other end of the plug .
Also if you ecu doesnt see a pluse from the crank sensor it will drop the fuel pump relay .

That was it I know I have fuel pump now cos there is a leak on the old line and the is fuel on my drive. Get in mate cheers. How do I install the obc without the imoblizer stopping the pump? Cheers again I will fix fuel line tonight and charge the battery. Fu*king mint

As for the OBC I am not sure how to unlock the imobilzer on it As I dont have one
But I believe there is a code you enter into it ( like the old radio code )

Not if the ecu sends the signal to the fuel pump relay mate. It pissed fuel all over my drive so need to sort out fuel line. I have been out to York to see E30beemerlad (lee) for another M50 lump so haven't had a look yet but think she will go now. Fingers crossed. Thanks for your help mate.

Right I am having a nightmare with this bloody m50 loom. Got the ump running with the old loom in but couldn't get it running tried 2 ecu's. We came to the conclusion that it was my wiring so I have changed the loom for a plug and play item known to work in lee's touring. Still no fuel pump. To say o am p*ssed off is an understatement. Anyone got any ideas before I ring the scrapyard.

Check for power (with a bulb, NOT a meter) at the red wire (30) of the fuel pump relay. If this is present, pull out he relay and short together pins 30 and 87 of the base. This should make the fuel pump run.
If it doesn't, use the bulb to check for power at fuse 11 in the fusebox. If there's power there, check for power on the green/purple wire at the plug and socket at the right hand end of the rear seat base. If power is present there, check at the fuel pump plug.
If the power disappears between the fuse and the socket under the seat, start hunting for an immobiliser connected into the wire.
If it doesn't, use the bulb to check for power at fuse 11 in the fusebox. If there's power there, check for power on the green/purple wire at the plug and socket at the right hand end of the rear seat base. If power is present there, check at the fuel pump plug.

defo got the fuel pipes connected the right way?

Yeh mate every which way mate. The fuel in line goes to the bulk head end of the rail and return is rad end yeh?Have shorted the pump so it runs all the time but it won't run when cranking piece of sh*t. I will take them pics now Lee

Complete numpty here had fuel in to the regulatar. What a tw*t I am. It runs like a bag of shit but it runs. Still have to short the pump out to make it run like
