Even though people have said it aint that bad I gonna strip down the head on my 318 as the tappets are doing my nut in.. whilst it's all appart any ideas on how to make it go better. I'm not bothered about increasing capacity as really want to start looking out for a 325 cabby soon. Not gonna sell this just use it as a bit of fun to and from work..

Um cam it bbtb etc... see if there is any porting that can be done on the head and also on the inlet manifold to really take advantage of the BBTB- then it'll need a tune up for the CO - get one of ants wild chips - oh and if the head is off try getting a tubular maifold, I seem to remember some one has a 4 pot one for sale just a sec....................Si316 has it but apparently wont fit the E30 -drop him aline anyway heres the topic http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... hlight=toy
if you are going to out it then dont bother but i have just done my m40 318 and spent aboutԚ£250 cam/rockers/lifters etc its nice and quiet but since it was done its like bolting on a 20bhp tuning kit it runs so much better i bought all my bits from gsf all oem parts
