Hi Guys,
I am near ocmpletion on my 320i M20 PBMW Car now and was wondering whether anyone is running an auxiliary oil pressure gauge.

I was hoping to use the existing sender switch poistion half way down the block by the sump, on the right hand side, but looking at the VDO electronic sender units it looks like the body might be too big.

I would be really interested to hear what brand of sender unit and gauge anyone is using and where they have fitted it.

Thanks in advance,

James

Hi James

How you doing, give me a buzz sometime to catch up

We're at Oulton on 8th Aug if you fancy a trip out?

I use a mechanical pressure in the existing hole and temp sensor of the sump plate, I cant get you all the numbers and other bits and bots you need for fitting if that helps

Hi Jimmy,
That would be great if you could. Sent you a few texts a while back but didn't know if your number had changed. Will PM you my number.

I will be at Oulton, (only live down the road from there now), crewing for Steve that weekend but if possible would like to bring my car down (as it currently is) for scrutineering, just to check that what I have done to date is ok.

Cheers,
James
