I have a compact with a 1600cc single cam motor in it, i also have a flywheel from a 325i, and a starter motor, its a big old type i think. I have been told that i can swap this over onto my motor so i dont have a duel mass flywheel..
What exactly is involved?
Single cam 1600motor, and 325i flywheels.

oh, i thought all bmw 4 pots had duel mass flywheels....
THing is, the 325i one is also going onto the m44 motor i have, but i dont have time to fit it you see.
the compact is a road rally car and im pushing to get it ready for aug, and the 1600 has a bit of a worn clutch, so i as just going to fit the 325i one to fix it.
