The engine is now finished and it's time to mount the transmission.
This is a 5-speed ZF tranny. I'm going to buy a new short shift instead of mounting the old shifter again.
I've hear a couple of things about which shifter to get, the E36 or the E30.
So my question is; Do I have to buy a E30 shortshift, or a E36 shortshift to make the shifter hit in the center of the hole in the floor?
Anyone know if the Rouge Octane short shift for E36 M3 and 328 will fit the Euro tranny? (Don't know if the US and Euro is sharing the same tranny (ZF 5-speed)).
