throttle body problem!

ive just got my car running again after a good strip down and service, and im having troubles with the throttle body not closing the last 1mil resulting in high revs after depression of the pedal, i didnt take any of the return springs of the body but im just wondering if the sensor on the bottom of it is the problem, i just want to know if its this sensor bcuz i did take it off and noticed it position can b altered,id just like a second opion on the matter b4 i strip the body off again, cheers

from the sounds of it you havn't put the t.p.s back on propley, when it goes back on before you tighten up the screws the sensor has to be moved from left to right till you hear a slight clicking noise and thats when you tighten it up matey,
coz if its not done right you get problems just like you describing, i fi was you i would take it off again and do i right
