Are your headlight wiper blades hard and crusty and act like they are "petting a dog the wrong way" when they wipe? (if you get what I mean)

Well mine are crusty and hard, and also have these little bumps that look like herpes. Well I couldn't cure the herpes (nobody can :teehee: ) but I did cure the crusty and hard part.

Take a bottle of rubber dressing (Tire dressing... etc.) dump it in a container and take all four wiper blades and drop them in the container and leave them there for at least 48 hours. They come out feeling soft, and flexible like they should! The herpes are still there, but they are dark black and actually wipe and "pet the dog the right way" if you get what I mean. Try it! :D
