Hi all, well summer is here and I got my cab out of hibernation.... I have owned and restored the e30 for the last 4 almost 5 years and have practically done everything I want to do to it....But as all you know with e30's its never really finished well my latest job is to restore the leather seats as they are starting to show their age... After seeing goldysings thread on dyeing the interior to change the colour I can’t decide if I should change my leather colour to red or keep it black
If any photoshop experts can change the colour of interior to red in the first Pic that would be very helpfull:D

Stunning cab
I'd keep them black, just get some leather restorer to bring them back to near original condition

With the white car, I'd keep the leather black ( or silver gray would look good!)

Looks okay, not too sure about the red centre in the steering wheel..
See how it goes without the red door cards becuz the red seems quite bright for some reason, don't want it to look too too much.
Overall looks good though, get some more pics up!!

GovR top man 10/10 for effort can I be cheeky and ask you to do the first pic where you can see the outside of the cab and only the headrests really... it will give me a better idea of how the red interior sits against the white car
Thanks in advance

I had exactly the same problem ~1,5 years ago. Red is too flashy, white is too hard to keep clean and in white car white interior is bit too much white if you know what i mean
"Baseball-glove brown" or black with some grey were the two options i had left and i ended up to latter (anthrazite alcantara & black leather)

Check
www.e30.de out, there're lots of different interiors ;)
