brake lights flickering/stayin on???

hi, when i press use the brakes, sometimes the brake lights stay on after i lift off, then if i tap the brake pedal the light will go off,and also when driving along, the brakelights may flicker, can anyone give me advice????? cheers

your brake light switch needs adjusted, it is located at the brake pedal under the dash.

It's more likely to be the brake pull rod across the car that needs adjusting. It should be set so that it just lifts the brake pedal fully up and no more.
If this has been going on for a while, a new switch is probably a good idea, as the arcing will have damaged it.

cheers, i played around adjusting the brake pull rod, but stil the same, any idea where i get a switch from?
