thought about chipping my 320i, is there different sorts (e.g.make and also price).also has anyone here chipped a 320i,could you tell me if its worth doing?

I fitted a 325i throttle body to my 320i and also had a remap on a rolling road, saw 19Bhp gains and lots more mid range torque.
Would recommend one of Ant's zone chips and the 2.5 throttle body, the inlet manifold needs grinding out for the bigger TB though

I used an alpina chip from ChippedUK and had no end of trouble with the tickover being too high.
It appears that these chips were done on a car with a lumpy cam so when you fit it to one in standard form the engine runs too fast,mine ticks over at 1000rpm and there is nothing you can do to fix this other than changing the chip so bear this in mind.
