Old M6 on the bay

Looks neat but a few things dont add up.

It has at least got the right engine. ITB's, twin cam M88/S38 But,

It says it's an Auto but it has a gear lever/clutch pedal.

and surely an 'M' should have sports seats?

Unbelievably, I've seen a few M635s with comfort seats. the M88 was bolted to auto boxes in the South African 745i. My spare engine has a flex plate attached.

That M635 has been on sale, by the same seller at the same price for well over a year.

I viewed it over a year ago and it was 5-6 grand's worth. Low mileage certainly, but the paintwork is poor in places and it needs some fettling.

I suspect it may be on SOR with a hopelessly optimistic owner.

Ill try and get hold of the guy who offered it to me and get full contact details and pass the info on mate as im not interested , Not keen on the shape tbh
All i know is its a white m6 and been dry stored for a while
