I'm planning on finally getting rid of the M40 anchor in the tourer and fitting the M20B25 from my old tourer.
What I'd like to know is.
Does the PAS pump connect straight up to thesteering rack pipework from the M40 powered shell, or do i need to swap over the pipes from the old 325?????
AND
Can I just plug the M20 loom/ecu straight in and connect up the 12v+ and neg feed and that's it????
I should add that the 325 was an 88' model and the 316 is a 93' model if that makes any difference.
Ta in advance
M40 to M20 swap-PAS question

PAS pump is slightly further back on the 4 cylinder, cannot see why the pipework will not fit or cannot be 'ajusted' to fit
remember when I swapped racks on the 316i I needed a minor tweak to the pipework,a matter of slacking off a union to allow it to re-position it's self. No idea about the loom, you wil have read Mr Moore's words no doubt.
