Hello,

I just did my first event in my bmw in a 40% complete car, still have m42 to fit, z3 rack and vented front disc setup.

I found the car to be quite balanced as it is, currently with a 18mm front ARB and no rear ARB. I have a 20mm front one to go on as well as the 14.5mm rear one as per the mtech standard but after last night I'm debating whether it needs the 14.5mm one I might try the 12mm rear ARB instead. What are people's thoughts?

Also I need some help mounting the rear ARB to the boot floor, what is part 12 in this picture and will my car have it or not?

Also anyone know if part 3 is still available off the dealer.

All parts required to fit a rear ARB to your car are available new from your dealer (or zimmerbimmer on here).
I'm not sure what part 12 is; it's pictured on the bmwfans ETK but not listed (neither are the washer (8)and split pin(9)).
The holes for bolts(4) are present on the chassis; the bolts have a wedge cut out of their threads to clear the underseal out.

If the car feels good, I'd leave it. I don't know what set-up is best for rallying, but I'd suspect something fairly soft would be best.
