Pity about the missing alloy.
I think he is asking to much with no tax or test.
Would say more like £1000 1250

Torn between this 1 and the black 1 forsale on the zone.
Steering lock has been broken as there is no shroud, lost the keys he said.
I key for the door and 1 to fire her up so would need a lock set.
Then what ever it would cost for an mot.

That looks to be in reasonable shape. I would say that the price is slightly the higher end of where it should be with no tax/mot etc but I think there would be room to knock him down a bit if u went to see it.

What's it doin on Hartge rims anyway? One opportunity would be to buy it, get some BBS for it and sell the rims individually to JBH and his VW mate, and probably claw some money back. winkeye

there you go

Baring in mind I said it wouldnt be a 'nightmare' what I meant was that, compared to what I'm after (an 8j 16" Alpina) I've seen a couple of these in the last few months. Buy a set of bbs in the meantime, a good investment

you never said compared to getting an Alpina rim... truth be it there just as hard as each other.... why don't you buy a set of bk171 to run in the mean time... there a good investment winkeye

Looks like a money pit.
If you buy it ,it would be easier/cheaper to get 15" bbs wheels.
There is a set in the parts section for £65 winkeye

Found it. Black one looks v nice. Lots of miles on the clock but that's the only thing that would put me off slightly. I feel it is reflected in the price though. Looks good and probably the better buy of the two. :D

Now hold on if you had both forsale in the same spot at the same money you would still go for the black 1 :D
There is something about the black 1 that does it for me.
That radio system in the car its orginial to the car but surely the did not have a remote and a cd changer in the boot in them days.

It doesnt look that bad in the photos, but what always worries me is when you come across someone selling a punchy rear-wheel drive car like that, which has an odd wheel on the rear....someone been having a bit of sideways curb banging action maybe?

It might be all genuine and fine, but i think id look at it before parting with my hard earned!

its got the rear bumper end caps missing which tells me the rear bumpers been off it for some reason... makes you wonder why? has it had a bumper? the odd wheel on the back? it does tell a story... it could be genuine but it does make you ask..

The owner says that the wheel was nicked at some point, but who knows.
The guy is not open to an offer so he gets to keep it hey.
If there was not that much to do for an mot why does he not do it then.
