i purchased a 2.5 cab from a friend who left it for dead in his garden,

just needs new hub and new petrol tank,

drove it earlier and its AMAZING!

just has 2 dents in the rear wings....

i did plan to break it but since sitting in it, smelling it, i absolutely love it, I LOVE IT!!

just need to find someone whos breaking a cab with mint rear wings to cut off!!

i never thought of myself driving a convertible as always thought its girly, but im impressed! the engine is MINT!!

Where is the common signs of rust on a cab? i cant see any rust apart from where the paint has flaked off from the dent!!

The cab I had was 90% rust free but had a rust patch under one of the rear lights, sills dont seem to rust much, but most of the ones I have seen rust in most of the same places any e30 rust like the arches and a couple of bits in the engine bay

Im pretty sure he'd say cut and replace them. Its not really a diy job imo but do-able.

Yhh as far as I understand he has his own bodyshop or am I mistaken. He has an awesome thread where he restored a 325i sport that was wrecked.

Found it below:

Let us know what he says, Im quiet curious how he would tackle that.
