325i Sport Cold Problem

blue temp sensor is first thing to check.
Then check the wiring connector below the throttle body to make sure any wires/connectors havent corroded(peel back the rubber boot on both sides to check the back of the connectors too). You can also test at the ecu to see what resistance the ecu receives

Sensor is in the water outlet/thermostat elbow at the top front of the engine.
The wiring connector referred to is a 6 or 7 pin round plug and socket fixed to the metalwork a few inches below the middle of the inlet manifold.
