Whats a very nice E36 328i sport engine worth these days, will come with loom, ECU, keys, etc. Done 127k with full history, and I mean FULL. Engine is sweeter than sweet and the car it was in went very, very well.
Any value advice would be valuable

Ive seen them for approx £400 but they were probably rough.
Remember the sport engine is identical to the other m52s so don't play a premium.

Yes, the £300 engines are usually removed by bruvs wiv gas axes so dont have complete looms/ews bits

£300- £500 for a 328 motor normally. Sports arent any different to rgular 328s.

I bought a good 328i Sport engine to replace the Nikasil beastie on the wifes 328i MTech Sport. Set me back the princely sum of £200 including ECU and all ancillaries. Lucky or what? Just cost me a fortune to get the switch made!! Up until that point the cheapest I had found was £450 and went up to £700.
