Hey folks,
Which exhaust manifold are most of the turbo chaps going for? Are there cast ones available? Only ones i can find are XS Power, and i know theyre much better than they used to be but...still.
Also oil feed, what have the turbo chaps done about the feed and drain? Assuming youve just modified the sump to take an oil drain, but how/where do you take the feed from?
With regards to the drain, i know it can cause issues on some non turbo engines when you turbo them if you dont get it in a certain place on the sump (chap in Sctoalnd had to move his on his 330hp 1.4 K series for a reason that escapes me now).
Thanks guys
Mark

I'm going to be using an Exotic Speed one on my build

I do have a std BMW one from a 324/325td that's been flipped and made to fit the M20 available if your interested??

If you welded on an adapter flange it'll take a T3 or T3/4

I gotta warn you from previous experience, that Exotic will crack at the flange if you dont custom a brace support on it to take the weight.
Deffo interested in the stock bimmer one, do people use these then?

Have read of some guys in the states using them with a T3 or similar sized Holset.Deffo interested in the stock bimmer one, do people use these then?
You'll need to block off the EGR hole unless using an external waste gate, but that's not a difficult job to do.

Do you know if anyone else on here is/has used one? I do see people on here using pretty understated cast manifolds, always wondered if they were an oem BMW item.
