when playing around with some relays and central locking system this weekend I seem to have inadavertently reset my original RDS radio and its now asking for a code which I dont have, is there a way around this?

also, my service inspection lights were previously all blank which I put down to an electrical gremlin butit suited me as I find them annoying, however, the inpectiion warning sagn is now lit, but the green and red lights are not... which part is causing these problems?

If the radio really is original, then I would expect that BMW can help you out - and I'd be surprised if they charge for this (unlike certain other manufacturers!). Try asking Cotswold.
Why do you find the inspection lights annoying? They are only lit before the engine is started, or when an inspection or service is due!
Is the inspection light accompanied by a little clock symbol?
