do e36 seats fit e30

am from ireland and its hard to gt 2nd hand coupe seats over here

Will physically fit in the available space, yes, but the front mounting arrangements are totally different.
It can be done, but it's not plug and play.

tyhanx for that will just have to take the plunge and see what i can do with them or get a set from england

I've not actually tried to do it, but I did once park an E36 beside an E30 with both sets of doors open, and did some comparisons with a tape measure.

Bootyman fitted some e36 Evo seats in his cab, so they will go in, but from what I remember him saying, it was a complete PITA and took lots of work.
Post this in the high modified section, I'm sure Ben will share his experiance
