Slave is held on with 2 11mm bolts on the geabox i think they 11mm

Thought they were 13mm?

Anyhoo, the top one's a bit of a pain to get to.

Also, just through preference, I'd undo the cylinder from the bellhousing and then undo the union as access is a bit better then, although if it's stiff this might be a problem.

I'd recommend getting one of those 13mm spanners with a bit missing to undo the union.

The 2 mounting bolts are 12mm sometimes 13mm and the hydraulic hose union is 11mm.

An 11mm flared brake spanner is perfect to avoid rounding the buggers off :D

If you put a proper brake hose clamp (not molegrips) on the flexible hose, or put a piece of clingfilm under the clutch resevoir cap, the clutch shouldn't need bleeding afterwards.
When you've finished, remove the clamp or clingfilm and open the bleed nipple. It should bleed itself by gravity.

The slave is held by 13mm bolts, had mine off at the weekend. A socket with a couple od extensions get the top bolt off easily.

Are you changing the master cyclinder as well? as when one fails the other is pretty likely to fail soon.

Buy the more expensive ones from GSF/EURO as the cheapo ones really do feel cheapo. Ask to compare them if you don't believe me.
