ive got a question

my friends given me his old 325i

its a 2 door and black and a later engine
wat i wanted a while ago

now i have a 4 door and silver blue wat i want now

but my chasis was rotten and now repaired ( with scars )
and my car is early engine with chrome

both cars are broke with big engine problems! so its rebuild time on either, but whats the better engine to keep
do i bother repairing mine and swaping into the clean shell or fix the one in there .

the black one must have a rod gone or a smashed piston or alike
and on mine ive pulled the head off. as its gone .

iam mainly thinking of the compresion difference between them ,
if i put the bottom end off mine with a new head that ive got in the new engine bay then will it work .

iam going to use it as a stop gap car untill i find a cirrus blue minter.
that i can get my mits on

unless any one out there has a 2 door cirrus blue with chrome they would like to swap for black.

my car has had its day with the chassis i think iam gutted. and the engine going too was just a kick in the head to add.
i need a good chasis for a roll cage when i get one
