Guys, I NEED to get rid of my clunking electric aerial, have any of you relocated your aerials and if so where and whats the procedure.

I want mine on the rear roof above the back screen

I also wanted to remove the aerial and smooth the rear wing so i got one of those hideaway aerials but it's a pile of pants! I've put it in the boot and got no reception so i moved it under the parcel shelf and now i can get the local radio station which i could get without an aerial or a fuzzy Radio 2!

Therefore, i'd also be interested to hear about other people's experiences with these

I've just bought one of these

Cheap but will try it in the boot first then if rubbish will try in the A pillar

My car came as standard without a radio so no speakers, aerial etc and I to am looking for a way of getting a good reception internally - will also try connect to the boot or roof :D
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....
